The owner of Radcliffe Woodworking contacted me to created a logo that combined his grandfather’s cattle brand and woodworking. The owner also loves wolves and wanted to see if a wolf could be incorporated into the logo. Radcliffe Woodworking was started during Covid as a hobby business that makes shelves, home decor, and Crokinole boards. The logo and brand design had to incorporate these unique elements. Before even beginning, I had to create a digital copy of the cattle brand with only a couple photos for reference.
Starting with the logo design, I gave the client 7 initial concepts to choose from as he did not have an idea of what he was looking for at the time. We then narrowed it down to 3, but option 6 looked a little too much like Woodlands County logo for his liking. I also adjusted option 5 since the cattle brand was a bit too small.

Once we were down to 2 logo designs, I created a mock up of them to narrow the choice down further.

Now with the final design chosen, he wanted me to create a tagline using the acronym WOLF. We came up with With Opa’s Love Forever since he is a grandfather and goes by the name Opa.

With the logo and branding completed, I then proceeded to create a Crokinole Instruction Manual to go with each board game sold. Since the game isn’t very popular, it wasn’t easy to find images online. I then had to use my photography skills to take my own photos of the board game with my own personal Crokinole board.
